Kids Ministry

It's amazing to see how Christ can work in and through the children in our community, and that's why we make it a priority to create a safe, fun, and engaging place for your kids to learn about and love Jesus.

On Sunday mornings, we have dedicated spaces for children (ages 0-5th grade) where they can begin developing their own relationships with God. They'll hear stories from the Bible, sing worship music, and pray together while building friendships with other kids their age.

If you have questions about our Kids Ministry program, please contact our Kids Director, Mandy Brown.

At Cross Community Church, communal followers of Jesus engage in small and large groups. Community Groups drive accountability and encouragement where believers know others and are known by others (Hebrews 10:24-25). The Community Groups is also the context where we practice the one another commands of Scripture (John 13:34).

It's about more than attending church on Sundays, but fostering enduring relationships within our community. Community Groups are a great way for you to meet others in the Lake Asbury area, grow in your faith, and do life together. Click here to browse our Community Groups.

…and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts.

Acts 2:42b-46

Between the ages of 12 and 18 is a pivotal time in the lives of children and young adults. There is so much pressure from the world to conform and they are asked to make decisions about their future! We want to come alongside families and help them as they raise their children to be followers of Christ.

At Cross Community Church, we are a Student Ministry who loves Jesus and wants others to know Him. Our Student Ministry Director, Reese Phillips leads a Community Group for students in grades 7-12 each Sunday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the home of one of our church members. Students play games, fellowship over good food, and dive deep into what God’s Word says about following Him.
